We are used to showing our membership and credentials to get into some of the world’s most exclusive lifestyle clubs. The project owners of the PunkWhales Club want you to show them your NFT membership card, an initiative that could revolutionize how membership is used and monetized by members.
The world’s first NFT members-only lifestyle club isn’t scheduled to open until August 2022, but it’s already creating a momentum in the NFT world. The PunkWhales clubhouse will offer members an exquisite setting for formal business meetings, luncheons and dinners or a simple planning session over coffee.
What we know about PunkWhales Club
While the private clubhouse location has not yet been decided in Hong Kong SAR (a decision that all NFTs holders will get to decide), the project managers of PunkWhales Club have announced that it will only be accessible to NFT holders, a.k.a. PunkWhales Club members. But not just any NFT: only those of the PunkWhales Club.
These NFTs are simple depiction of two types of memberships: the Whale Membership and the PUNKWHALES BLUE Membership. The PunkWhales tokens ($PUNKWHALES) serves as a payment method to the cocktail lounge (where no reservation is required), cafe the main dining area and other Club facilities and services including VIP concierge service.
The PUNKWHALES BLUE Membership, which is the most accessible, offers access to the PunkWhales Clubhouse, Omakase restaurant, Cocktail Lounge, Insulated Cigar Room, PunkWhales Metal MasterCard® Credit Card, Governance rights and access to members-only Discord channels.
The PUNKWHALES PRIVATE Membership is the most exclusive membership allowing its holder to enjoy all the benefits of the Whale Membership, and also gives NFT holders the PUNKWHALES BLACK Metal MasterCard® Credit Card, access to 24/7 Private sound-proof Meeting Rooms, 4x Governance Rights also come with PUNKWHALES PRIVATE Membership NFT.
The Team
While it’s absolutely necessary to present the NFT membership cards to access the PunkWhales Clubhouse, members will still have to pay for their spending either in fiat dollars or cryptocurrencies including their own PunkWhales tokens ($PUNKWHALES).
The team is at least as important as the concept.
